CURRENT ISSUES AND ANCHORAGE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
Theresa Nangle Obermeyer, Ph.D.
Anchorage, AK
Dec. 13, 2004
"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
The Power of Intention
Please review http://www.tobermeyer.info including six more pages of "Individual Investment Transactions" of past/present Alaska Permanent Fund Board (APFB) members' signatures for a total of 79 pages including Brady 10 pages, Frank 2 pages, Renkes 25 pages, Wohlforth 22 pages, Corbus 7 pages, Burns 7 pages, Condon 2 pages, Botelho 2 pages, Gruening 1 page, and Sampson 1 page. We marvel that APFB who are supposed to be making decisions in the best interest of Alaskans continue to be allowed to make astronomical investments in the Stock Market to enrich their own private bank accounts. Alaska Permanent Fund is supposed to be owned by all Alaskans and our Dividend has gone down to $900.00. It is time for the enactment by Alaska Legislature that APFB be confirmed by them along with review of the Board members' terms of office. Currently, Alaska Statute 37.13.060 "Term of Office" states that APFB have four year terms of office that can be renewed even though Eric Wohlforth has been member and Chair, APFB, since 1/95. I hope for a controversial and productive Alaska Legislative Session commencing on Monday, January 10, 2005.
Alaska Legislature's first order of business should be to license Thomas S. Obermeyer, Attorney, to practice law in Alaska or take over the functions of Alaska Bar Association. Tom has faithfully and resolutely paid for, studied for, and written a three day essay test of minimal competency, Alaska Bar Exam, 28 times for 84 days of his life even though he has been licensed since 1990 by Missouri Bar Exam, a state that has reciprocity with Alaska. Tom should have been licensed by reciprocity here in 1990. Mr. Stephen J. Van Goor's name as Alaska Bar Counsel since about 1980 is on Page 1201 of In the Matter of the Application of Thomas S. Obermeyer, 717 P2d 382, 57 ALR 4th 1195 (Alaska 4/18/86). We ask that Mr. Van Goor resign from his position unless he faces our treatment by him and takes positive action after 21 years. Ethical people do not take an individual's money once without a thought of helping the person. After these many years, we consider this stealing and an effort to destroy us financially. Because we live in the only state in U.S that does not have a law school or any elected attorney, there is absolutely no advocacy.
I have spent years giving Mr. Van Goor thousands of pages of my unethical treatment at the hands of 30 Alaska attorneys commencing in 1993 with a 100 pages complaint against Mr. Howard Trickey, Attorney, Anchorage School Board. We have tried to be explanatory and helpful always believing that we were not communicating effectively and that Mr. Van Goor would finally assist us. Who else has been treated so premeditatedly maliciously for so long? I was set up and jailed by Mr. Van Goor and Ms. Deborah O'Regan, Executive Director, Alaska Bar Association, on January 15, 1999 when I attempted to attend Alaska Bar Association Board of Governors' Meeting while the Board was a court reinstating Mr. Loren Staton, who had been disciplined for drug abuse. Mr. Staton has been reinstated for five years and yet Tom continues to be excluded from practicing law in Alaska. There are many examples of preferential treatment in Alaska law licensing which Mr. Van Goor has recommended over these 21 years including the total of about 500 Active Out of State of current 2,771 Alaska attorneys who are licensed here quarterly by reciprocity even though they have never landed on our soil. The most blatant example locally is former deceased Chief Justice Jay Rabinowitz sworn in Ms. Marla Greenstein, highly paid Executive Director, Alaska Commission on Judicial Conduct since 1982, to practice law in Alaska in 1997. She never paid for, took Alaska Bar Review, or wrote Alaska Bar Exam even though she currently is a columnist for Judges' Journal nationally. I email all these parties and Alaska judiciary.
Mr. Van Goor's response to our dedicated effort to create fair Alaska law licensing was to file Missouri Bar complaint against Tom 04-0570 based on my website "American Case Law Precedent" "30 Complaints Against Alaska Attorneys to Alaska Bar Association since 1993" at Missouri Bar Association at the end of August, 2004. The complaint was dismissed by Ms. Maridee Farnquist Edwards, Chief Disciplinary Counsel, Missouri Bar Association, Missouri Supreme Court, 3335 American Avenue, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109-1079, (573)635-7400 on October 29, 2004.
We believe the current ethical crisis of appointed Alaska Attorney General Gregg Renkes brings national focus to the corruption of Alaska Bench and Bar. Please review http://www.tobermeyer.info "$29 Billion Alaska Permanent Fund" the 25 pages of Mr. Renkes's signatures of his investments in the Stock Market. KFx is only one example. Mr. Renkes has 481 State of Alaska attorneys of 2,771 Alaska attorneys reporting to him. He should resign immediately but what about Mr. Eric Wohlforth who has been on Alaska Permanent Fund Board for 10 years? Please review http://www.tobermeyer.info "$29 Billion Alaska Permanent Fund" "Wohlforth, Vassar, Johnson & Brecht."
I consider it comical that Mr. Robert C. Bundy, former U.S. Attorney 1994-2002, District of Alaska, Anchorage, and current partner, Dorsey & Whitney, is being paid to write a report on Mr. Renkes's antics. FYI, I email Dorsey & Whitney so Mr. Bundy receives my writing. As I stated at Anchorage School Board Meeting on November 15 after Mr. Bundy's daughter, Barbara Bundy, testified, Mr. Bundy during his tenure as U.S. Attorney was the single "point man" for my three non-jury, federal criminal trials orchestrated by the entire life appointed Alaska federal court. My interface with the corruption of Alaska federal courts begin with http://www.tobermeyer.info "Theresa Nangle Obermeyer vs. University of Alaska/U.S. Court of Appeals 5/13/86" and continued under Mr. Bundy until I was jailed for 29 days June 11-July 10, 1996 because I filed for U.S. Senate. When I brought this up at Anchorage School Board Meeting November 15, you, President Tim Steele, Anchorage School Board, stopped the meeting and called Anchorage Police on me. I cannot believe that because I tell the truth, APD are continually called. In this case, there was no Police Report so I hope and believe that APD have figure out how disrespectfully I have been treated. It is noted that Mr. Bundy is not only an officer of the court as a licensed Alaska attorney since 1972 but he is a former U.S. Attorney and his name has been widely published in newspapers throughout Alaska for months as regards his investigation of Mr. Renkes. Both gentlemen are public figures and open to scrutiny. Please review my background and credentials as per http://www.tobermeyer.info "Theresa's Resume." Mr. Steele, you simply do not have a right to call APD on me any time you like and it weakens respect for any semblance of a public process when you do so. How is it possible that I have been treated so disrespectfully for so long?
Please check Anchorage Assembly Addendum for tomorrow December 14 "Appearance Request-Theresa Nangle Obermeyer, Ph.D., Please review www.tobermeyer.info especially Theresa Nangle Obermeyer Ph.D. vs. Anchorage School District 3AN-04-5209 CI filed 3/12/04 and dismissed by Judge Sen Tan 7/27/04." The issues of my lawsuit included ongoing harassment when I testify at Regular School Board Meetings, denial of employment opportunities beginning in Fall, 21002 as Alaska Type A Certified Teacher since 1979, and fabricated "Trespass" at East High School January, 2000 to present. We continue to get no help from our courts who are supposed to supervise Alaska Bar Association.
Regarding Anchorage School Board Meeting this evening, I request to speak on "Persons to Be Heard on Non-Agenda Items." I hope that Anchorage School Board pays very close attention to "Personnel Report" in order that the over 5,000 employees of ASD are treated well. When I think of the years of my own very malicious treatment, I believe we have all been very uncreative. Let's think of solutions and stop:"Shooting the messenger instead of reading the message" for the sake of our children and the future. I expect common courtesy and civility.
Happy holidays to you and yours!
