"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
Edmond Burke 1729-1797
Please review my updated website especially Alaska Permanent Fund Board (APFB) "Individual Investment Transactions" 7 new pages for Renkes for a total of 23 pages; 4 new pages for Wohlforth for a total of 12 pages; and 3 new pages for Corbus for a total of 6 pages. There is a grand total of 52 pages of the investments of past/present APFB in the Stock Market to enrich their private bank accounts. Anywhere else in U.S., this practice would be labeled "insider trading." In file "APFB members, photos," we have put Mr. Mike Burns's picture as the new Executive Director, APFB; he continues to be a member and past Chair, University of Alaska Board of Regents. It is necessary for ethical Alaskans to notice how corrupt APFB that is not confirmed by Alaska Legislature really is in light of the fact that our Dividend was lower over $200 again this year to $919.84. Alaska Permanent Fund should be taxed as it is not an endowment. I also call on Mr. Gregg Renkes to resign as appointed Alaska Attorney General who has 481 State of Alaska attorneys reporting to him.
Some of the other new files at http://www.tobermeyer.info are "American Case Law Precedent" "Implementation of Missouri Court Plan in Alaska," "$27 Billion Alaska Permanent Fund Board" "Bonds made available to locals first" by Richard Richtmyer, Anchorage Daily News F-1 10/20/04, and "Frank & Lisa Murkowski, Ben Stevens, 5/60 Alaska Legislators Appointed by Frank Murkowski 2003, 6th/60 9/28/04." Senator Charlie Huggins was sworn in 9/28/04 as the 6th appointee in Alaska Legislature since 2003 replacing Scot Ogan until January, 2007. Scot had resigned facing a "Recall Election" November 2.
There is another Anchorage Municipal School Bond Election for $81,600,000 on the Ballot November 2 for which Anchorage property taxpayers will have to pay $32.75 per $100,000 assessed valuation unless Alaska Legislature reimburses some of the amount. Mr. Eric Wohlforth, whose law firm actually collects legal fees for writing these bonds, has been on Alaska Permanent Fund Board for almost 10 years. Alaska Statute 37.13.060 "Term of Office" should be clarified because it states APFB members have four year terms that can be renewable. It is a blatant conflict of interest for Mr. Wohlforth to write the bonds for municipalities throughout State of Alaska both for elections and currently for public projects other than elections as the same Mr. Wohlforth is the longest serving member and former Chair twice, APFB, which has almost $28,000,000,000 or $28 Billion.
Alaska Bar Association Board of Governors meets this Thursday, October 28, at 9:00 A.M. at 550 West 7h Avenue, Suite 1900, Anchorage. Tom has written the Board asking for immediate admission after almost 21 years of effort. It is time for Tom to simply be allowed to have a reasonable life. We assume that people know that Tom's Alaska law license is about his livelihood. We do not think ethical Alaskans can imagine the harassment and targeting we have weathered over these many years simply because we refuse to give up. Why have we put ourselves through it? We are Americans who know why all of it has transpired but we can also state that we could never have imagined that it could have gone on this long or that it could get to this level without assistance and resolution.
Alaska is the only state in U.S. without a law school or any elected attorney. There are a total of 2,771 licensed Alaska attorneys. Of that number 482 are employed by State of Alaska out of 2,383 Alaska In-State attorneys. There are also 488 Alaska Active Out of State attorneys who have overwhelmingly been licensed here by reciprocity when they have never landed on our soil. Alaska Bar Association has literally given our state away to the 488 Alaska Active Out of State who are members of the most powerful law firms in U.S. For almost 21 years Tom Obermeyer has continue to be denied Alaska law license even though he should have been licensed to practice law in Alaska 14 years ago by reciprocity when he was licensed by Missouri Bar Exam in 1990, a state that has reciprocity with Alaska.
Anchorage School Board meets this evening. I continue to go to Anchorage School Board Meetings as I was elected at the ballot box a member and Treasurer, 1990-94. If ASD could have treated me as maliciously at they have since I was employed as a certified teacher at McLaughlin 1984-90 and continuing when I was elected and afterwards, what are they doing to defenseless children daily? I know what ASD does is not American education but I also know over 5,000 very nice people are employed by ASD. We all deserve better. I would like to address Anchorage School Board on "Persons to be Heard on Non-Agenda Items," #2 Memo 65, and #3 Memo 67.
