YOUR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IS UNDER ATTACK IN ALBERTA?

Rev. Stephen Boissoin
April 3, 2004

Your Religious Freedom Is Under Attack In Alberta?! Do Something About it on Saturday, April 17th 2004 OR Sit Back & Allow The Militant Left Wing In Canada To Gain Even More Ground!

Imagine a Pastor being accused of a hate crime and compared to Nazis just for defending the Biblical view of homosexuality? Imagine no longer!

Former Executive Director of the Concerned Christian Coalition Inc., (CCC), Rev. Stephen Boissoin is being dragged before the Alberta Human Rights Commission simply because a Human Rights Complaint was filed against him for speaking the truth about homosexuality and the homosexual agenda. This complaint was filed by vicious, fanatical and rabid University of Calgary Professor who is is determined to silence Christians in any manner that he can.

This Christophobic professor is organizing this attack because he knows if victorious, he will have set a precedent that will have ripple effects across Canada. The militant homosexual organizations in Canada are choosing Alberta as their new battle ground because they know if they can achieve victory in the Bible Belt of Canada the dominoes will fall across Canada and the battle will be lost.

The bottom line is that Christians need to wake up or we will lose ground that we will never get back. It is easy to get caught up in things that do not matter, but if we sit back on this one it is all over.

We do not leave our wounded on the battlefield! Rev. Stephen Boissoin is facing massive fines and possible jail time if the fines are not paid. This is appalling!

You have two choices here:
1) Do nothing other than keep the church pew warm on Sundays and allow the disease called Apathy to destroy this country even further.

OR
2) Support Rev. Stephen Boisson and help us protect freedom of Speech and Freedom of Relgion in Canada in one of the following ways: a) Come out to hear Rev. Tristan Emmanuel discuss his book Christophobia and also hear Rev. Stephen Boissoin discuss the creeping censorship and legalized attacks on believers in Canada.

INFORMATION ON REV. TRISTAN EMMANUEL AND HIS SPEECH
Rev. Tristan Emmanuel a well known defender of the family in Southern Ontario. The CCC is flying Rev. Tristan Emmanuel out to the convention and arranging for his accommodation.

Rev. Tristan Emmanuel is an ordained Presbyterian minister, and is the Executive Director of the EPC Centre--an advocacy organization dedicated to educating, motivating and mobilizing Christian participation in the public square.

Rev. Emmanuel has been published in several cultural journals including, the Citizen’s Report, the Chalcedon Report, the Christian Times and in his local paper, the St. Catherines Standard. Rev. Emmanuel writes as a Christian apologist, defending the need and necessity for historic and comprehensive Christianity Today.

At the CCC National Convention dinner Rev. Emmanuel will be talking about his book called Christophobia and he will take part in a book signing for all in attendance.

This book is about Bill C-250. Before it died with the adjournment of Canada's Parliament on Nov. 12, 2003, Bill C-250 was known as "an Act to amend the Criminal Code of Canada (hate propaganda)." This bill has now been amended by pro-family Senators this week and will be re-visted on April 20th if an election has not been called. If an election is called the bill will die.

Actually, to be more precise, this book is about legal oppression. Bill C-250, or whatever the Government of Canada may choose to replace it with in the future, represents the latest legislative initiative to silence moral disapproval of homosexuality. And ultimately, Bill C-250 represents an attempt to suppress the Christian Gospel. The Bill was the legal face of a very real problem: Christophobia.

If you're a Christian who is concerned about the homosexual agenda, but don't understand what all the fuss is about, then this book is for you. If you're aware of the dangers and have been a vocal critic of Bill C-250, then this book is for you. And if you're concerned about homosexuals because you believe they need to hear the Gospel, then this book is for you.

APPEAL LETTER FROM REV. STEPHEN BOISSOIN

Hello,

My name is Stephen Boissoin. I am an ordained and licensed minister in the province of Alberta. I am the Director of the Cave Youth Outreach Centre in Calgary, Alberta which is a Christian para-church organization that reaches out to hundreds of teens weekly through our two locations. Over the last decade I have devoted my life to reach spiritually lost young people with The Gospel message and to equip them with the tools they require to strive for their potential.

In 2002, I was informed that the Alberta P-Flag (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians & Gays) Faith Society had undertaken an initiative to teach young people in schools throughout Alberta that homosexuality was “Normal, Necessary, Acceptable & Productive.” Considering that I worked with numerous teenagers that were being misinformed by this initiative, I gracefully began to expose the destructive potential of this initiative to them and further inform them about sexuality in a biblically based manner. Little by little, I began to be persecuted by various social workers and teachers for my decision.

In the spring and summer of 2002, I informed the public through a letter to the editor about this tax funded pro-gay initiative and encouraged Christians to take seriously what was being taught in the public school system. At that time, there wasn’t a great deal that had been written about the pro-homosexual agenda in the newspapers.

The response to my letter to the editor was both praise-worthy and shocking. Christians came out of the woodwork from all walks of life and supported what I had written. However, there was also a flip side. A Human Rights Complaint was filed against me by a University of Calgary Professor and avid pro-homosexual Human Rights advocate.

I will be called before the Commission in the near future. If found guilty, I can face a heavy fine and if I do not pay the fine, incarceration. This hearing before the Alberta Human Rights Commission will set a precedent in Alberta, regardless of its outcome. Had Bill C-250 been implemented at that time, I may have been charged criminally. I instruct the youth that God places in my path no differently today. As a minister of the Gospel of Christ and fellow Christian, I ask for your support.

For further information, I can be reached at (403) 880-5810.

Sincerely,
Rev. Stephen Boissoin
