AIP CANDIDATES TURN OUT IN GREAT SHOWING

Mark Chryson
Former Chairman,
Alaskan Independence Party
Wasilla, AK
June 2, 2004

aiplogo.jpg - 13072 BytesThis year will show the Alaskan Independence Party's best showing for the general election in years. Candidates have realized that they should concentrate on the house and senate elections and force Alaskan Politics to accept a multi-party system with true representation from our points of view. We have no longer only sought the top seat.

Most of the champions of the "1999 Save the PFD" campaign has jumped aboard the AIP boat and hopes to sail with the 84% support that we had then. They have realized that the Republicans and Democrats are out only to raid the dividend and spend that on more state government.

Lazy Mt. Jim Garhart says, "Gatto, got to go. Mr. Gatto has refused to represent his constituents. He has alienated way too many of us."

Eddie Burke says, "It is time that the voters of the state votes for a party with integrity." He and Jerry Sanders left the Republican party after they refused to even slap Randy Ruedrich on the wrist for his legal violations.

Ed Martin wants everyone to JUST SAY NO when it comes to raiding the PFD.

Author Nick Begich who is the son of the Alaska's last truely elected congressman has several documents also on this web site. link

Several political newcomers also have decided to run with the AIP.

We wish them the best of luck in this years elections.
