THE WAR IN IRAQ, THE FAMILIES AT HOME

THIRDAGE COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
March 28, 2003

"My oldest son is a pilot in the USAF, and has been deployed "over there." He can't tell us where he is, but I've figured it out. I, who rarely watch TV, have CNN running constantly, and I cringe at every bomb strike I hear. My parents have been visiting here in Florida for the past 3 weeks, and it seems all they do is sit around and worry. I prefer to try to keep busy and go along with my daily life, but they've made it much harder to do that. All of the men and women who are fighting in the Mideast are in my prayers, as are the innocents who are also involved."
