Hello Alaskans:

I am writing this because I believe you to be a supporter of Prop 3, the All-Alaska Gasline Authority and its funding and creation.

In order to help this Gas Authority funding (just introduced) happen (see below note) you all must take the time NOW to email something to all these 11 Finance committee members. By Friday please.

THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE ACT NOW PLEASE

Please compose your own emails and then send them to all 11 members. Might take 30 minutes of your time to do the MOST CRITICAL thing you can do now to garner support at this time. We must have these support emails. By Friday please.

POSSIBLE THEMES:

Will of the people, 62.3 % passage, gas line in Alaska, Authority must be funded, jobs for Alaskans, Petrochemical Industry in Alaska, new revenues to state....etc. Please make up your own personal generic email and then send it to each member please. I have simply provided the contact info for your ease.

Each needs be personally created by you. These legislators msut know they have support and we are watching.

Or even call a few on the phone. Mention the % of voter passage in their District (numbers provided below) of Prop 3.

You might also forward some of this to friends and supporters you know so they will also perhaps ACT. This is our time......not next week. We all have worked very hard to get to this moment. Keep Alaska in the game.

The funding for the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority exists in the House Finance Subcommittee on the Department of Revenue budget recommendation to the full House Finance Committee. The amount of the funding is $1.3 million.

Same amount as for ANWR to Arctic Power. A good State investment.

The House Finance Committee will listen to public comment from the Matsu on Thursday beginning at 11:30, and from Anchorage on Friday beginning at 6 p.m.

Anyone might go to the LIO to testify. Or at least send the emails.

Please note that the Committee requests that those who will testify sign up as early as possible.
