COURT REFUSES STAY

Red Bright
Anchorage, AK
Oct. 7, 2002

The judge has ruled against Hope Mining Company and in favor of the United States Forest Service in our request for a stay until our case could be heard in court. I was expecting this, because he has taken so long to rule. Why can the tree huggers get a stay over-night and it takes an ordinary citizen almost three months to get an answer?

As anyone with an 8th grade reading ability could see that our request was was valid, as is our case. It only indicates that the judge ( who is the same one who will hear the case) is not one to stand for truth, justice, and the American Way. I have no intention ending up as Randy Weaver did. Besides I have no dog, wife, or son for them to kill. So our gold mining adventure comes to an end. It don't mean nuth'in.

Pray for early winter
