RESPONSE TO TRAGEDY
EMSi Staff
Sep. 15, 2001
Along with the rest of the world, we at EMSi are deeply disturbed by this week's events in the New York, Pennsylvania and the Washington, D.C. areas. This is a local event for us because we live in the New York metropolitan area and our friends and neighbors are among those still missing. We take comfort in knowing that people across the world feel the need to act and help our neighbors.
The American Red Cross responded immediately in New York City, Johnstown, PA, and Washington, D.C., and at airports in Los Angeles, Boston, and San Francisco. Volunteers have fanned out across the country and are providing critical support and services to those victims and families who have been affected, as well as to the rescue workers. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
Please visit the national Red Cross's web site at http://www.redcross.org, the New York chapter at http://www.nyredcross.org, the National Capital Chapter at http://www.redcrossdc.org/, or your local chapter's web site. Each of these has secure facilities for accepting donations.
There are many other organizations that are providing the much needed support, and special funds that have been created. A donation to any of them would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for caring.
The Employees of Enterprise Marketing Solutions, Inc.
