VIRUS ALERT

Beware if any of you open a website front page ... a download might appear ... just back away carefully do not open ... it will trigger a virus which has just been found this morning...
Make sure your virus protection is on & that you have all new innoculation updates. VIRUS IS CALLED: W32.Nimda.A@mm. It causes large scale emailing - with an attachment which is not visible in the emails called READ ME.exe. It modifies legitimate files with its self, slows systems, Opens the C: drive on computers as a share drive. A fix has been designed as this virus only started last night at 11:55 PM.

In the past moth my own repair shop has had more virus removal calls then normal. Just because a person has an antivirus which was on your computer when purchased does not mean it is up to date or even enabled.
Almost all of these clients had an antivirus program on their machine. All were either out of date, not enabled or had the email scan disabled.
Please Keep your antivirus software up to date and enabled. Make sure you have your email scan enabled as well.
