Dear Americans,
The last few days have been trying times for all of our
citizens.
We have all been filled with outrage at what we have all
seen, but have not been able to do anything effectual. At
least that is how I have felt. I am sure many of you have
had similar feelings.
That is why I am writing you. Tonight at 7pm Eastern
Standard Time, Americans across the nation, wherever they
are, whether in their homes, their cars, or in a public
place, will stop what they are doing, light a candle, and
hold it aloft. The purpose of this is to remember the
victims of the tragic attack, and also to send a message of
defiance to any enemies of America that we are united
together behind our President, and that we are resolved to
pay any price to see America kept safe.
This a wonderful opportunity for all Americans to come
together, stop, and remember. I would encourage all of you
to do this.
There are many of you on this list. Together we could have
quite an impact by spreading this across the whole nation.
Please forward this message to your friends and family.
I've received many emails from you about the candle lighting
tonight.
Attached is a message I received. Please pass it on.
Keep praying for America, Friends. We have some trying days
ahead of us.
For America,
Bruce Eberle
