MOURN THE VICTIMS, HOPE FOR PEACE
CANDLELIGHT VIGIL - FRIDAY, SEP. 14, 2001, 8 PM
From Alaska Action Center
Anchorage, Alaska
Sept. 12, 2001
The recent terrorist attacks have shaken us all. We
have all been glued to our radios and TVs to hear news
that has and will undoubtedly continue to touch us all
personally. In an effort to give local folks an
opportunity to grieve with their neighbors, local
community groups are inviting all Anchorage-area
residents to a candlelight vigil to mourn the victims
of the recent attacks in New York, Washington DC and
Pennsylvania and to join in a united hope for peace in
our world.
The vigil will take place on Friday, Sept. 14th at 8pm
at the Park Strip Flagpole, 9th and I, Anchorage.
Please join us and bring a candle to put some light
back into our world.
