NADER 'PRICELESS
TRUTH' SPOT TOPS THE CHARTS
Nader 2000 Campaign
Aug. 19, 2000
Ralph's
first television message has been rated the top advertisement
on Adcritic.com's website. Rave reviews have poured in since the
spot first aired last week and the public response has been overwhelming.
Our success is getting more attention than just the public's.
Unbelievably, this week the credit card giant MasterCard filed
a lawsuit against Ralph Nader citing trademark and copyright infringement
for parodying their commercial and use of the word "priceless."
The suit can only be seen as a clumsy attempt to suppress political
free speech and parody.
"They
should lighten up," Nader stated in a press conference last Thursday.
"They're taking their name 'Master' too seriously. This is America."
