10,000 SUPPORTERS
PACK PORTLAND COLISSEUM
Nader 2000 General Committee, Inc.
September 1, 2000
Ralph
and Winona filled the Portland Memorial Coliseum last week with
10,571
cheering supporters who demanded that Nader be allowed into
the debates. Due to space constraints, several hundred people
were turned away. The rally, which followed an energetic four-day,
nine-stop campaign tour through California, is the largest yet
for the Nader campaign, and the biggest for any presidential candidate
this year.
