NEWSMAX.COM BREAKING NEWS
March 13, 2001

A new federal rule change -- slipped into the federal register at the last minute by outgoing Pres. Bill Clinton -- would allow third parties to share and collect all of your medical records and data.

The new rule changes would allow for your doctors, HMOs, hospitals and even drug stores, to share and have access to your complete medical history and file.

Your private medical information, under the Clinton-inspired plan, would be accessible much like companies access your credit report from credit bureaus.

Privacy advocates are outraged by the plan, first proposed by Hillary Clinton in her failed health care system.

The new Clinton rule changes goes far beyond Hillary's original plan -- as it will allow pharmaceutical and marketing companies to have access to your confidential medical records.

This will allow these firms to sell you products related to your medical condition.

Pres. Bush's new Health and Human Services Secretary, Tommy Thompson, has delayed implementation of the new Clinton rule until mid-April. That's just a few weeks away.

Please read NewsMax.com's full report on this invasion of your medical privacy.
